What is the OCPP?

The full name of OCPP is Open Charging Point Protocol. It is an open-source protocol developed by the Open Charge Alliance (OCA) based in the Netherlands. OCPP is an application protocol for the communication between Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) and the Charging Station Management System (CSMS). The goal of OCPP is to create an open application protocol which allows all EVSE and CSMS from different venders can communicate with each other. The OCPP has been used by a large number of vendors of EVSE and CSMS in the world. Currently, Solax X1/X3 EVC only support OCPP 1.6 JSON specification.
