How do I know I really have batteries with a different generation?

Please note the fifth letter of the battery SN. The fifth digit of the first-generation battery SN is A/B, the master battery is A, the slave battery is B. The fifth digit of the second-generation battery SN is E/F, the master battery is E, the slave battery is F.
