Please follow the steps below:
When a fire breaks out in electrical facilities, the power supply should be cut off first. Not only the AC power supply but also the DC power supply by disconnecting the strings of photovoltaic modules should be disconnected. In critical situations, in order to gain the initiative in fire fighting and gain time to control the fire, it is possible to fight the fire with electricity while ensuring personal safety, and then cut off the power supply at an appropriate time, but safety must be paid attention to.
For fire fighting in power stations, dry powder fire extinguishers, carbon dioxide, 1211, carbon tetrachloride fire extinguishers or dry sand are usually used. It is strictly prohibited to use water and foam fire extinguishers to put out electrical fires. For precise instrument circuits such as inverters and controllers, or electrical equipment such as the motors of tracking brackets, dry powder, sand and other substances are generally not suitable for fire fighting. Carbon dioxide, 1211 and carbon tetrachloride fire extinguishers should be used to prevent debris from falling into the equipment and causing greater losses.
