Is there any difference in using in-built CT or Chint meter for parallel operation? Is there any recommendation on which one to install?

There is no difference when the system has PV. It is more cost-effective to replace it with a grid-tied inverter without batteries, unless user has the intention of subsequent capacity expansion.
