Do we have to install the 2nd meter in order for a 3rd party on-grid inverter to charge the Hybird batteries?

Whether use2nd meter or not, the on-grid inverter can charge the battery of Solax Hybrid inverter.  The 2nd meter is only used to show the power situation of the on-grid inverter.
